I too am tired of seeing the track limits violated with relative impunity. But rather than make the kerbs Monaco-level serious (though I'd personally enjoy it), I think a good compromise would be to make the kerbs not bumpy but slippery. BB10 is rather nice, but limited in terms of development, although you can sideload the Google Play Store so you can run almost any Android app. I quite like the forked version of Android they run on the Priv, since it uses a secure linux kernel which should help things considerably on the security side.

Not really, it took him a year and a half to get to speed with the new spec cars. We'd have just seen him get BTFO by Alonso, and he may well have not continued longer.
At least with the way it turned out, it became clear that the longer he stayed on in his comeback, the better he was getting.
Plus, the Brawn + Merc combo is what got him interested in a full-time comeback.

In my delusional mind, I'd like to think that the Ferrari was more balanced than the W01 seeing at that was a car similar to Jenson's driving style, and Raikkonen and Massa had a similar style to Schumi with a pointed nose and a loose backend. So maybe he may have come back to speed faster, but you're right Brawn was a big reason for his return, I wish he was allowed to say another year, he may have still been on the grid today, if only Ron Dennis did more to keep Lewis, he should have just bribed him with an F1 LongTail.
