What are some good ways to keep certain species of fish, such as tuna or something, from being overfished? I'm looking for methods that involve more than just fish less. Anyone got any ideas?

Special protected zones where tuna can breed to their heart's content to the point humans become the predator keeping their numbers in check. Offer alternatives like mass-breeding tuna in captivity (I'm not sure if this is viable or cost-effective) or wait long enough for lab-grown fish tissue.
