I presented an award at my old high school a while back (I'm 28 and 5'9"). Literally every 17 year old boy towered over me and most of the girls were the same height.

I'm not him but I'm the same height and I've experienced the same thing.

I live on the northeast US and a lot of girls are actually my height. I even pass quite a few who are a bit taller. It's fucking weird. It's really starting to get to me but I'm sure I notice it more than others...at least I hope I do.
