I can remove them yes, some of them take longer than others. I will not be removing captions tonight unless they are part of the requests on this list. At this time I am not taking requests via email because people tend to send me bulk requests and I simply don't have the time to do them all, I hope you understand. =) When I get to the one you posted I will be sure to move the caption.

It is definately one way to do it. I do it differently and (for me anyways) a crapload easier. Mainly because I only use selection tools to select details. I utterly despise using selection tools for large areas, because I always end up with loads of details that I missed, resulting in having to fiddle with selection feathering etc.
You can get decent results by doing this;
1). Open B/W picture
2). Ctrl + Shift + N to create a new layer
3). Set new layer to 'Color' blend mode
4). Pick a color
5). Start painting with the brush tool (Oooooh! MAGIC!)
6). Create a new layer in 'Color' blend mode for each section (one for skin, one for hair, etc)
Thats what I did when I first started fiddling with PS. As you practice you can add more effects such as layer masks to fine-tune colors, add filters up untill frequency adaptation. Don't worry if you don't get the last one, you don't use that that unless you get into the real nitty gritty, perfectionist stuff with skin textures etc. And I don't really do all that stuff for the pictures I did here. What I do on 4chan is basically ez-mode to pas the time. 95% of what I did are the 6 steps I posted above.
