MMFR is one of the only movies I liked enough to actually buy. I saw "The fault in our stars" in cinema. I had no expectations for it, but it turned out to be the worst film I have ever seen in cinema. I actually closed my eyes for literally 80% of it. It was just insultingly bland and bad. It was the most generic and uncompelling teenage love story you could possibly conceive of. The only "interesting" part is they both have cancer, which has no impact on the story what so ever until one of them dies at the end.
90% positive rotten tomatoes score. Because no one's going to say a film about teenagers with cancer is *bad*.
