6 years ago I took a broken airsoft version of a .50 barrett and added a tube for the common small firework mortars where the barrel would go.
Worked fine the first few shots, then I tried to shoot one and the lift charge didn't go off, I had it shouldered and just held on after I realized since my friends were around.
Blew the spotwelds off the gun, gave me a few cuts on my face. The guy standing behind me got the worst of it, the butt blew off and I moved at the last second, it went backwards and hit him in the knee, giving him a fuckhuge bloody bruise.
