The only reason I'd want to join UKIP just left as the rest of them are always sticking their foot in their mouths.

Except Mosley wasn't an island within the party but was actually well respected and popular, especially with figures who would become highly influential on the left of the party including Bevan.
Bevan even considered joining Mosley's New Party.
In the left-right battles within the party during the 50's, Mosley could tip the scale in the lefts favour, giving power to himself rather than the Gaitskellites.

Nigel is being smart.
UKIP is nothing more then a dead horse to him. Sure it might do great and be a strong third party or it can slide into Green party tier, or whatever you guys have that is shit equivalent, it doesn't really matter Britain can be Britain now.
He is now doing the important part. In the short term he is making sure Britain is getting the best trade deal they can get from the EU without backing out on the rapefugee shit. In the long term he can live his life how he likes it and at the same time show up and lead other EU nations that truly have a shot of getting out. The madman, this hero of humanity, is going to kill the EU demon once and for all.
Good on him
Godspeed Nigel.

>>79711424
Leadsom is the UKIP wing choice. For that reason she will not succeed unfortunately.
As a Remain voter my only morsel of enjoyment is watching the utter chaos this has brought on everything Brexit related. I really hope what the Brexit voters wished for is slowly coming back to haunt them. In 10 years we'll have just as many immigrants as we do now and realistically a lot more. We'll be at the mercy of EU rules if we want to enjoy (need to have) trade with Europe, only now we'll have no power to veto any rules that come out of Europe.
The UK will no longer exist after Scotland leaves. Gove will have destroyed the NHS as he's long been a proponent of and we'll all have a wonderful U.S. style privatised health service and all the EU rules that safeguarded our rights at work will have been scrapped because the Conservatives will claim, "We need to remove all your once EU mandated statutory holidays, minimum wage and maternity leave in order to make UK businesses competitive." and business taxes will have been slashed to entice companies here but doing so will screw over all our other public services that'll be raped dry of funding: hospitals, police, fire brigade etc. Enjoy them now because in 10 years they'll be unrecognisable.

is a fucking joke and absolutely incompetent. He wrote this thing:
http://www.paulnuttallmep.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/paulcolumn10122014.jpg
He is also notorious in the European Commission, because he produces a huge amount of so-called "written questions" which count for fucking nothing and are just publicity stunts - you ask a question knowing the Commission can't answer and then throw out the answer to the public, interpreting it as you will. Nuttall writes a question a week about "how much EU funding does XXXX get". He then uses it to point a finger at the answer and go TAXPAYER MONEY IS WASTED THERE! Even though half of the answers he gets equate to about 1-2 million of funding which is...about equal to his salary!

Schulz gets the same (I think), but he has an office of like 20 people or something. Which is technically money for him, since you hire family, friends or lovers.
That said, Commissioners get the most with about 21k pure salary, an office of 20+ people, a fucktonshitload of benefits, 6 months of your salary bonus immediately paid upon joining the office, a pension of a fuckload after you end your service and more.
The least fair is probably the high-placed commission officials who have half the responsibility of commissioners and get appointed on connections, with nearly no need to campaign, build up a career or anything and get about 13-15k a month and nearly the same benefits.
Blame the retarded idea that we need an EU foreign service, mostly.

Ditto for EU migrants. As a whole.
You know, before brexit, benefits were negotiated to be indexed to the country and also not given before 5 years of residence. Just a little fact.
That said, it's another subject. The point is that she said EU migrants will only be guaranteed right to stay once UK ones are, I know for a fact we will give it to UK ones, so EU migrants will also stay, hence the dude saying EU migrants will be kicked is not saying the truth.

How? He's an MEP, the negotiations are up to the government and parliament.
2005: The then little-known Ukip MEP successfully brought forward a motion of no confidence in the European Parliament calling on the President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso after it emerged that Barroso had spent a week on the yacht of Greek shipping magnate Spiros Latsis less than a month before Latsis's company received millions in Brussels approved, Greek state aid funds.

- DELAY on the question of free movement whilst telling people they are going to deliver it.
- Ensure that they fight the 2020 election with the question of free movement not having been settled, whilst telling us it will be.
- Give in on free movement the nano-second they win the 2020 election.

Something to consider:
The whole of the EU is now butthurt. Every single poster from an EU country now has an axe to grind.
The UK worked out how to pick the lock of the EU prison, and we are now running to the green hills of freedom.
Angry EUropoors are still locked in their prisons. The UK could go back and help them, but the truth is, many of those EUropoors deserve to be in the EU prison. Indeed, even if the UK opened their cells, many of them, scared of freedom, would choose to remain inside the EU prison.
So we must be ready to face a barrage of EU butthurt at our freedom and prosperity. We must laugh at the pathetic EUropoors who are so butthurt that the UK is braver than them, stronger than them, and smarter than them. Their bitternerss must not hinder our romping in the hills.

I can not properly express how much I respect this final act of his on the public stage. He is a modern day Cincinnatus, and we will need more men cut of his cloth.
As long as Britain, and all our nations, continue producing men of his caliber, we can weather any storm.

I'm not terribly familiar with all of that, to be perfectly honest. When I lived in the UK I didn't get any housing, NHS or education. Neither did any of my friends or such. We would either pay a fuckload of money renting a shit house and studying or work miserable jobs and live miserable lives. I don't know how mirants got those benefits.
That said, it is still a fact that, on paper, migrants CONTRIBUTE more than they take back.
The whole problem lies with the fact that they undercut your labour and take all the jobs. Which is a stupid failure of the EU.
New entrants shouldn't be refused. Not a generalization like that, at least. Because you'd be denying yourselves motivated, high-quality labour in many cases. I'm a fan of the points system. Even though I've been told MANY times its not applicable in Europe, I think a big-ass points system is something we all need.

Poor guy, saw him in a debate and he did great.
My guess is he'll be deputy and Nuttall will be leader

So here's a thought:
Farage has been the face of this campaign for over two decades, general media have already spend billions on building a negative image around him. The first and most important step has now been taken and the people needed a familiar face to convince them. Now that it is irreversible Farage has to go as the remainers are fighting a personal war against him, inserting a new face will force camp- hiney-pain to invent an entirely new narrative. This will take time, time they don't have right now since things are moving fast. They couldn't even keep up before the referendum( the assasination of Jo Cox turned out a complete flop). On top of that Nigel is catching too much wind. Which is distracting.

>migrants CONTRIBUTE more than they take back
>le EU funded IFS report based on very generous assumptions
you really think tomek the pole working for 12k a year is putting in more than he gets out, after roads, tax credits, healthcare etc?

They were valid the first time, this is the 5003rd time I've heard them. They've become less valid.

>that we will be economic pain from leaving the EU?
You will, but you don't care, you're doing this for sovereignty and knowing it will be an economic issues.
>that this is a crazy thing to do
Not quite, it's pretty stupid, but it's Cameron being stupid offering an in-out referendum. If I were in Britain I'd likely also vote brexit, although I'd see it more a failure of my own political class not the European one.
>but what are you trying to prove?
Who's trying to prove anything?
You're a bunch of hostile cunts whose heads have gotten far too big and I'm just enjoying myself.
Someone make a new bread lads

UKIP's future depends upon the nature of the negotiation. Also he's not "leaving" or going anywhere, this is just a sign that this is now out of UKIP's hands. They're still capturing 15% in the polls so we havn't seen the last of him.
I honestly find it scary how much people are pushing to ignore a completely democratic vote.
>>79715945
Do you think the EU will ever cave on free movement? How fanatical are they about the 4 freedoms?
>>79715945
>it is still a fact that, on paper, migrants CONTRIBUTE more than they take back
Nobody believes this, including the people who made the statistic up.
>>79716275
the 'sore losers alliance' is nothing but a small and extremely vocal minority who appear larger than they really are and have tony fucking blair as a figurehead. i wouldn't worry.

He's ok in debates. Ok in comparison to his speeches.

Still not very good.
But he has the charisma of a...well, you know:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifZDa7VBHXQ
Nuttall isn't much better.
The fact is, UKIP is full of absolutely incompetent idiots. Nigel is a shining light of brilliance compared to his party.
>>79716080
That's a pretty subjective thing, you know. Because if you take the numbers and go by them alone, you're not really looking at the proper picture. Tomek the pole may be taking more out, but him agreeing to work for 12k a year and allowing a business to pay 12k instead of the 20k Jon Smith the chav wants, for manual labour, may be allowing said business to make profits that go well over his contribution.
My point being that until we're talking about unemployed people claiming benefits from you, we're skirting the issue and getting into pointless arguments.
The issue, again, being that these migrants take your jobs and the benefit of a solid economy doesn't reach you, which also creates huge divides and social issues.

This.
A clear example of liberal fascism.

They won't ever cave on free movement. See, free movement is one of the core values of the EU. I will defend it with my life if I have to, but free movement doesn't necessarily mean free movement against all reason.
You're looking at free movement harming nations like the UK because it allows Poles to suckle on their economy, but you're missing the point that it harms Poland probably MORE than Britain. Because Poland loses all its workers and people, effectively killing the nation.
See, unchecked freedom of movement for labour is broken.
And it needs to be reworked.
I'm very skeptical that anyone will even think in that direction, looking at how stupidly lost we all are, but I'm sadly quite idealistic so I'll keep holding on to the belief we can finally fucking open our eyes that we need to regulate labour migration.
>>79715017
Remainer scum thought the future belonged to them and that delusion got ripped from them.
>>79711448
>it doesn't really matter Britain can be Britain now
Your optimism is incredibly stupid.
We haven't left yet. We might not even leave. If we do leave we may keep freedom of movement.
And the EU was scarcely even the main problem to begin, it was always the pro-EU establishment that pursued and ensured that non-EU net migration is just as high as EU migration
The fact is UKIP were giving Labour and the Tories a fucking beating each election, and that may now be jeopardised.
Fuck you and your optimism. Don't be a Tory-supporting wanker
