A black person adopted by THAT KIND of what family has huuuuuge identity issues. They become very uncomfortable BY THE FACT that if they remained with their TRUE black families they would be in a pure shit life. They owe EVERYTHING to white people. At the same time, they are bombarded with message after message that white people are evil, greedy, selfish, and want to destroy everyone. Yet their personal life is proof that this is not true. They also desire to even fit in with the black community but the black community will only ostracize them and hate them out of jealousy.
All these mental and emotional gears grinding in their heads causes huge amount of cognitive dissonance. The more they try to "rationalize" their feelings the more divorced they become from reality itself. As a result, no amount of proof, statistics, and logic can do anything because it will not benefit their "rationalization."
