Shem is the father of the the Jews and the Arabs, which includes Ishmael who was the son of Abraham and his Negroid slave woman Hagar.
Muslims claim Ishmael is the direct ancestor of Muhammad and also that he, not Isaac, was the son that Abraham nearly sacrificed on Mount Moriah.
