Seriously, what's up with the increase of unironic support of communism / socialism nowadays? A few years back these people didn't seem to exist, yet lately the "socialism is the way to go" posts just keep popping up, more and more frequently. Is this a Sanders related thing? We won the cold war, but lost the culture war
Angsty boomers sought to rebel against everything mindlessly. Even though the overly conservative culture of the 40's and 50's did have some problems, the economic system wasn't one of them.
The boomers started a rebellion against EVERYTHING western. Culture, arts, economic models, everything caucasian, family units, etc.
Then it become even more pronounced when the following generations the boomers trained.
But right now there is at least a well published fight against the uncontested marxist control of our academic institutions. A lot of people who were previously uninterested or weren't aware are joining the ranks to fight against progressive insanity.
