I'm from Massachusetts and last time I was vacationing throughout the south (Virginia, Georgia, North/South Carolina, and Florida), the atmosphere was so much nicer. The people were actually friendly, the weather is great and the general feel of the towns/cities is so much comfier.
What makes y'all so much better than the north? Considering moving down there in the future.

I definitely feel a lot less safe than I did back home, I have become far more racist since I now live among blacks, and the people i interact with daily are most certainly not nicer and more welcoming than those back north.
I have pretty much given up and stopped going outside except for work and groceries.
