I have an old CRT TV, with my NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Dreamcast, etc. My friends come over and we play that shit still all the time. Because it's nothing but a blast.
I got a PS4 as the PS3 had lots of games like that(Resistance was the best in co-op). However, the only two player game I have on PS4 is Mortal Kombat X which is clunky and sucks. Some shitty racing games, and the only shooting game is Battlefront. My internet is garbage so I can't even play it online. It takes me multiple tries to login. I was hoping for an offline style like Battlefront 2 had, but I was extremely disappointed. We went back to Battlefront 2.

The PS4 is for weeb games and the occasional multiplat that you feel like playing with friends who also have a PS4 or you don't feel like playing on your PC. The only exclusive worth a damn is Bloodborne, and there won't be another exclusive worth a damn until NieR Automata.
