basically it means she challenged the university's decision to fire her, likely because she held tenure and it is very hard to get rid of a tenured professor. The university heard her case, and decided she was still fired.

it means that the ruling that her firing was justified is upheld and cannot be argued again for now. She was violating people's rights and after the backlash she tried to claim innocence despite the video evidence. upon being fired she literally apologized for getting caught. No sense of morality at all
