The Celts are a kind of made-up ethnic group. Genetically there are greater differences between different Celtic peoples than there are between them and the English. It's really just a language brach more than anything. The Cornish have next to nothing to do with the Scots, for example.

What do you actually mean when you say "Celtic" people? Because genetically the English are Celtic, just with some Germanic admixture. In terms of culture, pretty much the entire British Isles have been Anglicized for hundreds of years now. There are only small pockets of Celtic language speakers here and there.

Yes, and the genetic evidence suggests rather that Celtic people of the British Isles became Celtic through acculturation, not from a mass migration of people from Central Europe.
