if you have a hunting license in germanistan you can own 2 handguns and unlimited hunting rifles.
Even if you join a shooting club you are still not allowed to actually carry a weapon with you, that sort of license is really rare and mostly for security guards.

Yeah a hunting license is pretty expensive, but on the plus side you can hunt so thats cool. I think a shooting club is a lot of effort too, you usually need to practice often and help at their events.
