Convince me that this won't be the final result of the 2016 election. Ever since Biden dropped speculation of his entry into the race, the media has been rushing to defend Clinton on all the scandals and she has seen her numbers improve. By the time November 2016 rolls around, the media will have successfully completed its propaganda and PR campaigns for the GOP nominee and Clinton, respectively. We. Have. No. Chance.
Don't get me wrong, I'm going to go out and vote against Clinton, but I see no path to victory for any Republican.
Look at the results in 2008 and 2012. Romney saw an increase in support of roughly 2% in the swing states of North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Virginia, and Iowa. Assuming the same shift occurs for 2016 due to the decrease in probability of a party holding the WH for 3 consecutive terms, that moves Florida into GOP territory and maybe possibly Ohio. How can we win?

She won't win.

No matter how hard you shill she won't take PA
>>55345265
I'm not shilling. I certainly don't want her to win. I've been curious about the idea of a decrease in the black vote as well. If Obama won 93% of the blacks in 2012, 95% in 2008, Kerry got 88% in 2004, and Gore got 90% in 2000, how much can we assume Clinton 2016 gets? 91%? That's not enough. She'd need to lose more of the white vote for it to make a difference.

Maybe not yet. But the propaganda machine isn't in full operation yet. The media will spin this election so hard and make it all about how we need to make history. Let's take a look at their current operation:
1. Project Carson: attack him on the pyramids thing to make him look stupid; call him a liar about West Point
2. Project Trump: make him look like a racist and marginalize his views in general (Trump has fallen from the 30% threshold he was previously at in the national primary polls)
3. Project Rubio: ignore him; attack his voting record, credit card bills, traffic tickets
4. Project Cruz: ignore him
Just wait. They'll get everyone voting just the way they want.
>>55344917
Does it matter though?
If I'm reading OP's 5% moe map correctly, even if GOP carries all the marginal states plus PA, They sill only get 295 votes in the electoral college and Hillary wins.

Wisconsin's going to go red. That whole teacher-strike thing that happened after the 2012 election turned a lot of people off.
Ohio will likely go red as well, if the weed bill is any bellweather, or if their governor gets the VP spot.
Colorado may very well go red as well. They've got their legal weed, and there's been a conservative resurgence in the state since then.
Dunno about Virginia and New Mexico, though.
>>55346092

you're forgetting the other side of the coin
Hillary:
1. obviously benghazi and the emails (basic baby shit)
2. her pedophiliac sexual predator husband (epstein pedo flights)
3. whitewater
4. watergate firing
5. clinton foundation taking millions from the saudis after bill saved their shit
6. Anti super PAC propaganda
7. Vince Foster murder
8. The fact that she literally defended a known pedophile as an attorney, destroyed evidence, lied, and is on tape laughing about him being able to pass a polygraph (goodbye female vote. the victim was a 12 year old girl)
Clinton has alot more dirt nobodies touching until the general election

The only person who has enough money to do any digging on those issues is Trump. Otherwise nobody in the media is going to bring those issues to light. They'll keep talking about how the GOP candidate is "anti-women" and how we need free college and free birth control. It's the same thing every time and I have no faith that the American people will be able to see through the lies. I mean, look at what the media did for Obama in 2012. The unemployment rate was terrible, the recovery was slow, the GDP growth rate was anemic, everybody hated Obamacare, he was a miserable failure by all accounts. And yet the media made the election about Romney, not Obama. The re-election of a president is supposed to be centered around the president's record the past 4 years, and yet in these days the truth never actually comes to light. Think 1984.

PA hasn't gone red since 1988. PA went blue for *John Kerry* when he got trounced in the national results by Bush Jr.

Essentially, our main in-roads were discovering a very specific group that were "irrationally" Republican -- white government employees ages 35 to 55. I wasn't part of the group that aimed to reach them and flip them which is where the real art is. In the end his margin was high enough that it wasn't strictly necessary, but that was the group that could easily move 2 points from blue to red if they're properly ID'd and their concerns are addressed.
