I don't understand why people are so up in arms over Russia and China wanting to do some work. It just means we can save money and lives, and continue to hoard weapons and military power. Meanwhile, Russia and China can have a turn sending men and money into a shitstorm of a never ending quagmire that shits on their economy.

It's better than that. We basically spent ourselves into trillion dollar debt trying to play policeman with Iraq and Afghanistan, groups that were way more reasonable than ISIS and Syria.
If China and Russia want to blow the same amount of money they would suffer way harder than we did.
Even if they succeed and kill a shitload of ragheads, this actually makes things better for us.
Obama just briar patched Russia and China. "No please guys, don't go in and fight ISIS, that's for us! Whatever you do, don't try to take them on!"
