How do I take photo of my dog if she doesn't like if I take my camera out of the bag or hold anything in front of my face including the phone?
She just cowers like it is some kind of monstrosity and I have to spend a few minutes calming her down.
I never fired the flash on her or scared her in any way. Maybe she thinks it turns my face into some unrecognizable thing. Otherwise she's very smart and intelligent.
She's a German Shepard btw.

I guess try and make her more comfortable around you when stuff is obscuring your face, or tryand take photos without your camera obscuring your face. You can get some cameras to display their screen and take photos remotely (WU-1A attachment on my d3300, pic related)
