yeah I know the Z06 is slower than the GT-R on most stuff. My dad has one and the problem with it is the grip. Even with those stupid sticky tires (that we only got 1200 miles on with street driving before needing to change) it needs more grip if you are going at any speed and want to turn. So you have to brake really hard before the corners and then it is hard to get the power down again after a turn.

Well that's bullshit because in Motortrend's test is clearly shows the Z06 catching up in the corners but the GTR pulling away on the straights
The Z07 package just has so much drag from its aero that it hinders its straight line speed

Maybe they put different tires on, I don't know. I don't have a GTR to compare to, it very well might be worse. I can tell you it isn't better than a Porsche GT3RS in turns, and obviously with getting power down.
