Rubber Soul isn't overrated because it is a sublime collection of folk songs from before the band got rough around the edges and more experimental, and is literally the comfiest album ever.

But it certainly isn't underrated either, as you try and suggest. It is regularly considered one of the hreatest albums of all time. I think RS placed it it in their top 5 in the 500 Greatest Albums list, so it's not as if it doesn't get recognition or acclaim.

The best thing about this album is that it included scraps of Homegrown on the first half. As far as what was actually recorded for the album goes, it's poor.

The Old Homestead is spectacular, and Little Wing is so damn comfy. The first half of this album is truly remarkable. I wish more people talked about this album. Everytime I post something about it I never get replies
