I think... the Light Speed Champion / Dev Hynes / Blopod Ornage / MYnameisMalcom multiple identity thing has back fired a bit as it's difficult to know when it's not an ironic at hands length musical statement

I just downloaded from Domino , get the gatefold maybe this week

I was walking about town at 3am with it on,

it's has some beautiful instrumental touches

I haven't quite figured it out yet,

I think he's bridging a gap between Frank Ocean and Kamasi Washington


It has a retro feel like Frank , it evokes the vapourwave 80's gaming feel, but not as explicitly, and... has real delicate musicianship
