when the song changes after "you can feel their smile... from the inside..." and then gets loud as shit and will's vocals are more frantic than ever before "LAST NIGHT I DREAMED HE WAS TRYING TO KILL YOU... I WOKE UP AND I WAS TRYING TO KILL YOU" then the small "YOU'RE EARS PERKED UP" break with the drum beat and then after that the song finally settles on this gorgeous monstrous sound for the rest of the song with "THE ANCIENTS SAW IT COMING AND YOU CAN SEE THAT THEY TRIED TO WARN THEM" until the end.
I LOVE this song. I adore this fucking song. I tried to convey my internal monologue adoring fanboy tone but I don't know if I pulled it off.

well, the first time I heard anchorite I was feeling that exact way to a tee. I was personally in the EXACT same situation so it kinda became gospel for me for a while and to this day that song is very personal and special to me because it gave me a way to think during that time.
