The concept is interesting but the writing and everything is extremely cheesy on purpose, and makes reference to a bunch of obscure memes, but somehow the fan base thinks it's the best thing ever written and is meant to be taken super seriously.

The game literally knows what the target audience is and delivers through on that content. It's not the game's fault the fanbase is filled with furfag spergs and autists who won't shut the fuck up about it. It's an interesting game for what it is, but the hate/love on both sides are completely unwarranted.
