This is my personal trajectory so I'm a bit off the standard.

That said, you can do just about anything you want with a master's in history, it just won't be easy. I've heard people going into banking, insurance and similar financial jobs. I've seen people go into academics (a select few though). Most seem to end up in education. A lot aim for a job in archival institutions. I'm trying to go the cultural heritage.
If I can make a suggestion. Do the master's in history, then specialise through a master's-after-master's, something very narrow and niche for you to be an expert at. Archivism, digital humanities, library- and information studies, restoration, monuments and heritage, you get the picture.

Good, that's a perfect starting point. Keep working your job for now (just to have some disposable income and something to keep you occupied. In your spare time, do stuff you never did before or take up hobbies you never got to. Just try and discover what gets you going, could literally be anything. Most of all, don't feel bad for anything (dropping out, working a min wage job, not having a passion, whatever), it's all just steps on the way forward.

The sutdying is no problem if you enjoy it, I'm genuinely sad that my study/research days are over. Just make sure you try to be the best. Always aim for that one grade higher the next time. There's too much people in arts and humanities for the jobs available, so make sure you have that extra advantage right from the bat. Doing some voluntary internships along the way might help as well, gets you some experience for your resume later on.

it's solid, i like tracks I, II, and V a lot. VI falls a little flat imo but it's still pretty good. IV is decent and I can't really get into III. it has its flaws: some passages tend to overstay their welcome and i personally don't find this album's imagery and lyrics quite as encompassing as their previous work. overall it's a 7/10 for me.

If I were to make the Alien of music, it would definitely be industrial black metal, but it wouldn't quite sound like Thorns or Triptykon.
it would have lots of progressive tempo variations (as opposed to abrupt ones), reverberated layered vocals (kinda like what you can find in harsh EBM), and most of all it would have lots of tremolo riffs (hence why it should be BM) and droning, vibrating sound textures that are reminiscent of organic, bodily noises, as well as some sloshing sound samples and rumbling infrabasses or high-frequency buzzing. I feel that it's the best way to convey the physical aspect of the Alien in sound form, the ribbed textures that are all over its body and its insectoid look. Also unorthodox techniques like dragging the pick along the strings to create that creepy purring sound. And those organic textures would be either merged or contrasted with typical industrial percussions, alarm noises and ambient synth layers. Maybe a bit of a horror synthwave influence on some tracks, like Stellar Master Elite (the band) did on their latest album. No techno beats though.
But structure-wise it would be pretty close to Thorns insofar as it would be mostly very steady and slow, with occasional frantic outbursts. However unlike Thorns it wouldn't have martial rhythms or clearly intelligible vocals outside of samples. The guitar sound would also have to be less clean, and to use some reverb on many tracks (because atmosphere and space).
