I'm looking for books similar to The Girls by emma cline and girls on fire by Robin (can't remember the last name). I can't put my finger on what exactly it is I'm looking for; maybe something like fucked up romances. I guess I'm looking for books that are haunting and will resonate after I read them
The Bed Moved by Rebecca Schiff. Short stories, but similar ideas. Fewer murders, though.
OP here, also, I'm looking for grim stories (not edgy or gritty, something more modern and less classic ), something, again, like girls on fire
