I mean for all countries, should you be proud to be part of the country you were born in even though you had no choice of where you were born?

Poverty doesn't correlate with crime actually. IQ and genetics DO play a bigger role. I've been to poor villages in the middle of nowhere in Ireland, and there's no crime. I barely see actual English/Irish Australians living here at all. Everyone is either asian, indian or wearing a hijab; here exclusively to leech resources and fuck off to avoid taxation. It's difficult in Germany to not cross the line between patriotism/nazism. many people fear being labelled as a nazi, so they aren't very patriotic either, at least not openly. Nevertheless most of the Germans think Germany is one of the best countries to live in, which it is along with some other.

My experiences with rural towns have been pretty shit overall. I worked in Shepparton for a while when work offered a place, but the place just felt dead. The real trailer trash stereotype, few businesses and poor infrastructure got to me. Like I was shitting my live away just being there.

My parents told me that when you're a soul, God gives you a choice which country you want to be born in amd I'm proud I chose to live here.
