Can an i7 4770 run a 4k display and play 4k video at 60fps? I need a new work computer CPU and I don't know if I should get the 4770 or one of the newer Skylake models.

I've seen quad Xeon E7-8890 v4 setups struggle to output a 4k display AND play a 4k video at 60 fps.

The 96 cores simply wasn't able to handle the gargantuan task of such an amazing feat.

You're probably in the market for a super computer if you're trying to do something like that.
