What is the point of a mechanical keyboard if it makes so much noise that it is almost impossible to use it in the office where most people type the most?

honestly, mechanical keyboards are awful.
i've tried 13 of them in my lifetime, and i always graduate back to my old Acer keyboard that came with my 2002 desktop.
