Is it normal for a motherboard to have a higher temp than your cpu?
I recently finished my new build and everything was going well till I my computer randomly shut down when playing doom, It would reboot but constantly turn off. I figured it was a overheating problem.
I reapplied paste on my cpu and tried again...still the same.
this has me scratching my head.
What happens is the temps of my cpu and motherboard jump all over the place when loading a program. my motherboard temp is always higher. it's almost as if my motherboard heats up my cpu which i know isn't the case. I have no clue about this. Any of you guys?

Have you overclocked it?
It seems that your powersupply is too low
Here's it doing something simple like a quick scan.

No, haven't touched anything like that.

I figured that was the problem at first. I had a Cosair 860!. Obviously enough what I have but I thought maybe its just failed so I got a new 1200! just to be sure and still have the problems.

Why did you buy such shitty ram? You have a 6700k ffs and you're RAM is at 2140MHz assuming you're dual channel.

Damn son, your chipset's all fucked up, I've never seen mine go above 30C. Do you have liquid cooling?
