I have over 10,000 images all organised into folders. However, there are countless pictures which could be sorted into multiple folders.
Is it worth setting up image tagging software? And if so, what is recommended?

Holy shit, just do yourself a favor and get Hydrus.
Can you upload them to google photos? When I last checked my photos backup it had sorted it all by stuff like "bridges, waterfalls, beaches, portrait, group photos, building, streets, scenic points, mountains, rivers" and stuff. It even recognized people by face I had in my google contacts. Pretty spooky desu.
I wonder if this is why google bought captcha and then has us pick pictures of rivers and stuff.
