Does anyone know of a place in SoCal that serves traditional Raclette, properly under a heater? Most places seem to serve "a pan of cheese melted over potatoes and gherkins". That's not the shit I'm looking for.

Fair enough. If you don't mind it not being under the "traditional" heater, you could check out Trader Joe's. I think I've seen them sell them packs of Emmi raclette last time I was in the US. (Avoid French raclette cheese, it's not good and tends to form a skin under heat)
