do you have any life goals you want to pursue but you just can't make yourself to do so? Because I do and I'm fucking sick of it, I always screw myself over.
I am looking for some kind of accountability, for someone I can share my daily/weekly/whatever goals with and he/she will kick my ass if I fail and, if desired, vice versa.

I work in finance for the money and think of starting my own company or going back into science but rationally I feel that statistically the impact I can have as an individual is limited compared to going into politics or journalism where I can influence national budgets and public opinion. But I am an unsociable STEM major with few friends or connections so I have psychological barriers towards this.

where do you feel you would do the most improvements? By having an extroverted career where you first need to get people to like you or by solving some problems and then waiting until somebody discovers your solutioin?
