Hnnnnggggg.
I'm working on an adult Starfire pic and i'm having trouble figuring out her color scheme. I've seen her being depicted as having green powers and purple powers. It makes more sense to me that her powers would be green but purple powers seem to create a better hue contrast against the orange body.

The purple powers belong to her sister, Blackfire. Although Blackfire is slightly less orang iirc.

In the original comic, her powers were purple. In the show, they were green. Her recent solo series by Amanda Conner draws a lot of inspiration from the show, giving her both green powers and separate irises/pupils instead of blank green eyes. Either would probably work, but I say go with green. She's got plenty of purple already on her wardrobe (and sometimes nails, lips, etc), and the green seems more like internal power that resonates through her eyes than anything else.

It's not an edit. It was actually published like that in the first version of the book. When they reprinted the book, so they could remove all mentions of a prior Teen Titans group, they also altered Starfire's bikini.
