I had no idea there was an OVA, but I was disappointed it seemed like she lost to that other boring girl at the end of the series

The show was meh.
The girls were cute, though.
It felt like a decent adaptation but the switch between the overly happy cute girls and the brooding souta was a bit much for me.
My favorite scene was when he was just chilling on his 'sisters' lap and one of the other girls pops out of the bushes.
