These third world families, often with up to 10 children, rely on the very farming of tea herb and coffee plant. One bad storm, one flood, one bad harvest, and it's all gone. Verily, the alacricity of such unfortunate phenomena would result in the farmer not being able to pay his bills, the woman having to prostitute herself for cash, and the children would starve . The entire family would have to sell their small property to a rich investor, and see their last holdings - the memories of the family, the very few happy days they could together live as a result of countless hours spent in planting and harvesting, all destroyed by the simple work of a digger vehicle, and in the place of that old house that carried with it the last hopes of a stable retirement for the couple, and a good future for the children, bright shining skyscrapers would be constructed.
For this family, now unemployed, hopeless, without direction, confused and in despair, to destroy their plantations of coffee and tea herb was the one and only cause of all of this.
I think they are taking their time to honour these people and remember their deeds.
