A plot summary for "Decision" can be found below:

Its really the Green/White ranger trope popularized by the Green Ranger of Power Rangers/Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. Usually the color isn't green, I cannot even remember any besides the original being green, and are a white/unique variant more often than not. (Titanium, gold, etc). The term usually coincides with being the 6th member of the team added in as the series progresses, some referring to it instead as the Sixth Ranger effect.

Well they can't be Omegamon, Jesmon, Gankoomon, or Alphamon for obvious reasons, Magnamon, Ulforcevdramon, and Dukemon are too associated with V-Mon, VDramon, and Guilmon to use. From there LordKnightmon is a pretty rose-themed knight. So would end up with Gomamon being part of a Jogress to Dynasmon, Examon, Duftmon, Sleipmon, or Craniummon. Unless Gomamon is recessive, seems like only Sleipmon or Duftmon would be on theme.
Piyomon is blatantly for Examon, so what her Jogress partner is will pretty much determine how everyone else works however.

That's actually a much, much better shot than the other one. It's a close-up so you can't tell what's around it (there might be a victim nearby), and the phone is crushed by debris which makes you wonder whether any humans were buried under the rubble as well, or what the extent of the damage is.
It's much more emotional and evocative than the broken phone on a pristine, empty sidewalk with some dirtied groceries next to it.

I was trying to work out the idea in my head. Thought of a protagonist duo where one is a virus user and the other is partnered with a Royal Knight, keep the human cast small due to more partners and to allow more development. I was playing with the idea of 2 allowing for other characters with Royal Knight tamers to come into play, and allow for the one who controls Omnimon and/or Alphamon.
Would be a story where the virus user is an agent of Homeostasis and has to get the Royal Knights/Yggdrasil to work together with him to prepare for a new menace.

If a copy of Leomon could be made from pieces of data inside Impmon and Juri's digivice, I like to think Juri's matrix evolution would be either Duftmon or LordKnightmon.
They're the relatively androgynous Royal Knights who have been connected to GrappuLeomon before, though the latter only evolved that way in a card game.
Of course the copy would revert to Child form and lose most of his memories, I wouldn't want his death to be *totally* undone!

If the Digimon franchise actually settled on one canon/universe, they wouldn't have to reiterate the same few plot ideas (like the Royal Knights) over and over in different variations.
Though it looks like they're actually trying to do that. Re:Digitize is set in the same world as World, -next Order- seems to be as well. Re:Digitize: Decode referenced the X-Evolution film, and the Tri anime is reviving the Adventures universe (which shares localities with World).

You realize Taichi is the chosen of Courage because he struggles with his natural indecisiveness and fear. He has the greatest courage because deep down Taichi is the most fearful when he knows about the consequences, he developed this issue due to the incident where his selfish actions almost got Hikari killed.
All the chosen embody their specific personality trait to an extreme, but this is due to insecurities they all developed that they must overcome.

He didn't permanently overcome those struggles, those are deepseated issues all of them had. One psychology session as a child doesn't fix you, anon. All the Chosen will forever struggle with their issues (Jou is reliability even though he is not capable, Yamato is a lone wolf and has a penchant for closing off others even though he desires friendship the most, Takeru is hope even though he grew up never having real hope for things to improve his broken home, etc.)

Yamato has friends but as we saw how he interacts with his best friend, when anyone disagrees with him or doesn't think like mindedly he naturally returns to the idea that they are going to reject him so he tries to reject them first.

I actually started it one more time that day, and my Seadramon suddenly evolved to Megadramon, which motivated me enough to actually finish the game (i.e. beat Mugendramon) after another rebirth/evolution cycle.
I maintain my position that I like the core gameplay, and prefer World's pace to Re:Digitize's.
World is very open-ended and filled with sidequests, while the plot is hidden in the background. You can piece it together from various sidequests (meeting Jyureimon, defeating Giromon) at your own pace, and it never feels like you're in a hurry. This suits the v-pet gameplay very well, since you'll be spending some time raising your Digimon and need to take breaks from adventuring when it dies.
Re:Digitize had a decent number of sidequests as well, but the plot was always rushing you. “Let's race to X!”; “We need to collect Y before it's too late!”, “The world is ending, meet us at Z!” It felt a bit like Pokémon Black/White or X/Y, with a group of friends at every corner moving you forward. Not at all relaxing (but at least the battles were a bit less tedious/mind-numbingly easy).
I hope -next 0rder- takes the open-ended approach again and places more emphasis on leisurely exploration.

I'm much more concerned by the lack of proper flower Adult-levels. Whether you want to get from Palmon to Lilimon, from Lalamon to Lotusmon, or from Floramon to Blossomon, you have to transit through weird-looking stuff like Togemon, Kiwimon, or Sunflowmon (which, I guess, is based on a flower, but it lacks the more vividly coloured blossoms of the Digimon it can evolve from and into).

How's Frontier, and Xros?
I really liked Adventure and Tamers. Enjoyed Savers quite a bit, loathed 02 most of the time mainly because (probably just me) it shits on Adventure and the original protags, but still had fun watching it, loved the soundtrack as well.

Frontier imo was pretty fun. It's not the best series but it had an interesting concept in having the humans transform into Digimon and fighting the battles themselves. It also introduced us to the over used group the Royal Knights.
Xros was my personal favorite series due to the Digimon being characters instead of over glorified pets or one dimensional evil bad guys. I do wish they did more with Akari and Zenjirou instead of side lining them. It's the best looking series out of the franchise and Nene's armpits take up most of the budget when she's on screen.

Frontier has an interesting gimmick and an interesting selection of designs DESTROYED by shitty writing and the abandonment of staple conventions, rather than attempts to apply the new concept to the convention like the aft end of tamers. Watch at own risk, but you're better off just going through the mon designs, picking your favorites and pretending they've only appeared in games or cards.
Xros has interesting base mon designs and a good sense of escalation, but suffers the same writing failures of Frontier and 99% of the gestalt mons are literally just the two mons wearing eachother as armor, ala adventure 02. Rinse and repeat as was did with frontier, but I hear the manga version of Xros isn't as terrible as the show.

Not much of a challenge. Ultimately, the commands you can issue are relatively superfluous. The only real action you can take that has any meaning is healing your Digimon when its HP gets low enough.
No matter what you do, Digimon World is not a game that takes any particular thought or strategy to play. That's my biggest problem with it. I don't mind games that are a little on the easy side, but this is just excessive.

It's fair criticism. I enjoy it anyway because of everything else the game has to offer, though. The exploration and the ability to raise your own Digimon have always appealed to me. In Decode, against the final boss, I had to actively direct my Magnamon because I severely underestimated what could happen. The same could be said when I took him to Mt. Infinity.Fuck that place.
That said, it's not for everyone. People enjoy different stuff. The alternative is always the Digimon Story games, if Digimon World isn't to one's liking. For what it is, Cyber Sleuth is an enjoyable game in general.

Comparatively, to the other Digimon World Games, Cyber Sleuth is unique in the regard it has a compelling story and likeable NPC characters.
The Gameplay was overall improved and the grinding aspect of it, in my opinion, isn't terrible or long so as long as you know how to use the loops the system provides to you. as far as thing go, there's a decent selection of Digimon.
All in all, if you enjoy Digimon, I say play it for the experience. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Cyber Sleuth had some potential, or about as much as a turn-based RPG could have anyway, but I felt it was lacking in a lot of areas. I didn't like how simplified the attribute system was. Having only three primary attributes and a couple of sub-attributes kinda destroys a lot of potential complexity.
Side-quests were also on the bland side and from a story point of view, half the Royal Knights were painfully underutilized.
I suppose this is the best one could expect from Bamco, though. Their Kamen Rider games are all criminally half-assed, so in that sense, Cyber Sleuth's practically a diamond in the rough.

Frontier is pure concentrated wasted potential. It has good ideas it's just that the execution was terrible. It suffers from the same problems as 02 with it becoming overly focused on two characters.
