Because most of the creators are men?
Because they are made for lonely men.
Because fun things are fun.
Maybe men are more attracted to visuals while women are attracted to emotions and stuff. That's probably why everytime I'm at the drugstore all the romance novels in the magazine section are topless muscley Fabio-looking dudes getting groped by women or vice versa. It might also explain why women are more into otoge and yaoi manga. But there's probably some contingent of women out there who like ecchi anime and fanservicey harem shows.
