Ok /x/ here we go.

We found a patent for a mind controlling machine.

>>17516379

After some research we found a software the guy made, allegedly it works.

We need to test it.

I'm already installed it, but I'm already shiting my pants in anticipation we need brave anons that volunteer to test the software and report any effect it may had.

If it works you contributed to internet history, if it don't, you have nothing to loose.

Couldn't finish.

Got 18 minutes of it.

Experienced some physical effects, definitely soften stool, barely avoided shitting my pants, but I was expecting that, mild dissorentation, and discomfort.

Can't rule out suggestion, but I'm sure it does something.

We need more tests.

>>
Going to wait and meditate for a couple of hours so I can get my brainwaves straight again and I'm gonna try again.

Any anon that wish to try it, is encouraged to do so, maybe we discover something truly interesting.

The rest of the patents of the guy were fascinating to say the least, and what you can do with an imperceptible frecuency that can provoke changes in your physical body it's way to creepy to let it slide.

The only result of the experimentation with the program was soften stool.

Wich makes it, by far, the most diabolical software ever created.

Is this at all related to the united states patent on a method of EM/subliminal mind control via television? I can't remember the exact number, but this seems to fit that patent fairly well.

A couple of things, we have two theories about how it works,

theory 1: Uses your montitor to produce waves on low ranges, wich could affect your nervous system.

theory 2: it changes colors so fast and so close to each other that you can notice it, and produce a subliminal response.

We can rule out suggestion given the method involved for testing.

Besides that, we have the info on the creator that's pretty solid, proof that he did worked on this field and he was good enough at it.

Good enough for a remote mind controlling device?

I don't know.

Just tried the software:
"Getting started" section with beep sound , eyes closed and squeezing thigh sync with beep.
Beep sound follows a sinus. Gets fast and slow
Its relaxing but got boring last 15 mins.
Normal meditating with Cross-legged posture made me more high than this application.

Tomorrow I"ll try the next step.

>We can rule out suggestion given the method involved for testing.

How so? Everyone involved has more than likely been expecting/looking for *something* to happen, the only way to eliminate "suggestion" would be to subject random people to it without warning.
>>
>>17532204
If you prefer the Standard Installation Package, click on CueTest for downloading a self-extracting executable (2.08 MB).
Install it,
if you are on win7 or higher run it like win xp 3
>>
>>17532231
Yeah, that was a typo, we can't.

But we are on /x/ there's a thread next to this with a picture of a goat in a tree.

I don't have a lab coat and a degree in the wall.

If it works here it could work anywhere.

In a faster board it could get out of control.
>>
>>17532231
I rather trust the criteria of the people participating.

It's an experiment to test if a software can produces physical effects in your body.

What you need is to test in all kinds of people all kinds of personalities, could be an internet produced disease.

We test it on the internet to see how people react to it, we don't understand the mechanics involved, yet.

Given enough tests we can draw conclussions.
>>
>>17532266
Actually I have an idea; what if we take it over to /sci/, /r9k/, maybe /b/ or some other technologically savvy board and claim that we made this for some programming class for whatever reason and ask them if it's working right? Or something along those lines, I just pulled this idea out of my ass three seconds ago so it could probably use some work because they're probably gonna have a few questions. Anyway, if anybody in THOSE threads claims to feel something off while watching it, then THAT would rule out any potential influences.

I figure one of you guys would be creative enough to fill out the details to provide a cover story: imagination is definitely /x/'s forte.
>>
>>17523955

>>
>>17532336
/B/ is definitely a great place... I suggest we start with /sci/. I'm going to try the program on sunday and report my findings. Anybody else brave enough?
>>

>Path/file access error

Help me /x/, I want to use it.
>>
>>17532352
Run faster?
>>
>>17532352
Sounds like you're not the administrator on the computer. Running the program on any school/library computers will not work. Unless you are using it on the admin acc.
>>
>>17532349
If we can get /sci/ to participate that would be great, but getting their interest is gonna be difficult, I don't think i've seen a board with staler content.
>>
>>17532336
Of course it is, wich is the problem we have here.

We generated a response, but it was our response, or a response estimulated by the software, what are the exact effects of it,

I made a couple of threads

>>>/sci/7962341

>>>/g/53727766

With the exception of a thread, I made on /diy/

The science behind is sketchy at least, mostly because nobody can explains how it could work, nobody should be doing this kind of experiments, but it can be done.

I have a question, there's a paper he did on Hopfied neurons, can anybody read it?

Did he says what neurons did he used for the research?

Who, was the animal used for testing?

/sci/'s reponse
>No, electromagnetic nervous system stimulation to effective mind control levels cannot be achieved by simple software. You cannot eliminate the placebo effect from the set of physiological responses observed. Although your post might not be about that famous mind control patent, in which case I excuse myself. Good night in any case.
>>
>>17526359
no. you can't actually hypnotise someone against their will.
>>
>>17532445
I got told by /sci/ they're better than me I'll wait for a response.
>>
The quote from the 'What can be done?' From the side menu.

>Running CueTest will help you discover whether you are sensitive to pulsed electric fields.

Where did OP get mind controlling from?
>>
Guys, did you read the 'getting started'? If you turn beeps on do you just hear the default error noise?

From what I can gather, this is just a system to notify you to squeeze your thigh ever set given amount of time.

Guys srsly what is this? This doesn't seem that interesting at all if you read all of the given info.
>>
>>17533324
Some of the theory behind it, is interesting.

And there's a slim chance of the software working in one of three ways.

>>17530485

If you get more than 20% responses produced by a placebo effect, you stll have a successful placebo effect generator.
>>
>>17534724
Best way to test the software is to test it on a unsuspecting person to use as a control. If you know what it's for and you test it on yourself, there's no way to rule out whether it's a placebo or it actually works. Let's try to find volunteers who don't know what their getting into.
