Some of you are probably familiar with the "hard problem of consciousness". For thpse who aren't, it boils down to "how and why do we experience any sensation?" (Seriously, just google it if you want a better definition).
Now, a good deal of people just don't get what this is all about. You could explain it for hours and still fail to get it through. A couple of questions to help things get started: Is consciousness something one must work or earn, or is it something only some are born with? Okay guys, I've been a lurker for a little while now but I want to get this off my chest and see if anyone else has any similar experiences or knows what the fuck is going on. Long story short, Dane is still loosely in contact with me today (at this point it's just brief and every couple months or so usually). Whenever I'm doing certain serious things advanced le-magic-related, he calls me up out of the blue. I haven't had any more conversations that I don't remember, but I have had plenty of fucking weird ones with him, including several where he indicated that he knew what I was doing somehow. Each band has a different focus. Tool is a general self-exploration. A Perfect Circle tends to be an exploration of human depravity. Puscifer sounds like an odd blend of the two with a little more focus on collaboration with other artists.
"Hooker With A Penis" seems to be a response to a fan accusing the band of selling out after the release of "Sober." It may also refer to Fuck You Buddy/So Long Sucker game invented in 1950 by John Forbes Nash that requires making agreements with other players which are ultimately unenforceable. Finally, there's a reference to Genesis 1:28 ("be fruitful and multiply")
