Ford Block in Rotorua, pretty sp0o0oky at night
This is what happened to my dad when he was in the army (note that the story dates back to communist times when military service was mandatory). He told me this when we were at the beach and i kept bringing up paranormal stuff.
Imagine the base he was stationed like a square with ABCD as corners of the squares with a large tower somewhere in the middle. My dad and his guard dog had to patrol from A to B and then to C. His buddy had to patrol from C to D than A.
Now the action part.

I'm sure if you have stories from the USSR, there's going to be crossovers with other eastern European stuff.
Mythos seem to happen I'm spheres, just as north europe all had elves and little people, the mythos and stories of eastern Europe share similarities.
I think theytend to be far darker and less forgiving as well, if I'm not mistaken.

What the hell is an Experimental Forest? I was driving down a road tonight with a friend cause we were board and after about two miles we got to an area that was enclosed in chain link fence, with a ton of warning signs like no trespassing and others with fine print we couldn't read. At the end of this road there was a huge gate that had even more signs on it, the most noticeable of which said "San Dimas Experimental Forest" (we're in San Dimas, California). It looked like it had a lot of protection, and neither of us had heard of an experimental forest so...

A quick google search has revealed that an experimental forest is a type of nature preserve used by the forestry serivce for studying as well as teaching ecology for nearby colleges and universities. The fire station is most likey because of the wildfires that have been happening alot in california.
"Experimental Forest" BULLSHIT! Break in there and see what they are really doing to people. Wear a mask. Unless that's where they study decaying bodies to train "expert witnesses" to testify against you when they frame you. Google is part of it.
Redpill me on Peruvian myths folklore etc.

Post the most scary story you know, doesn't have to be true.
A friend of mine used to work in the family business which was a funeral home, and as in any other businesses there were well known stories.
There was one about a very rich man that supposedly sold his soul to the devil, and everybody knew about it, 1 because he used to say it joking 2 he was not allowed to share his wealth, not even a dime and he excused himself saying that HE won't allow it.
Also people felt very uncomfortable around him.
The day he died people was joking about his money and the devil's right to claim his soul, and as he was taken to a funeral house (not the one of my friend's) to get ready for the service, people were gathering around the building and while the body was unattended a fire started, the funny thing is that only the coffin burnt. My friend told me that people in the business used to say that the flames were so bright and that the whole room was burning so it makes no sense that only the coffin and the body, burnt.
The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door

The number station UVB-76 is just gone, no buzzing, nothing. Is something about to go down? This is really weird because this station has been running non stop for years?
What are your thoughts?
Coming in okay for me, but it has been acting weird over the past few days.

Your picture is retarded
UVB-76 is not a numbers station. there have been a lot of military communication going on (today it was practically nonstop) so maybe something is going down.
Been seeing the dude in pic related all over my town lately. The Asians here are all about some Fudo Myo for some reason. Strangely, I feel drawn to him. Kept staring at his statue in the local sushi shop.
I'm familiar with some mantra work. Google doesn't turn up much for Fudo mantras or meditations.
Anybody got any more info

Here's the Sanskrit mantra. Not sure about pronounciation.
>Namah samanta-vajrânâm canda mahârosana sphotaya hûm trat hâm mâm
Any help appreciated. The Youtube vids don't help much. Phonetics would be nice.

I was going through trying to translate this when I realized it was purely Buddhist. After that the search was easy.
http://fudosama.blogspot.com/2004/12/mantra-of-fudoo-myoo-oo.html
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acala
>Acala (Sanskrit: "immovable") is a dharmapala[1] primarily revered in Vajrayana Buddhism, particularly in Tangmi traditions of Japan where he is known as Fudō Myōō, China and elsewhere.
Apparently the mantra means "Homage to the all-pervading Vajras! O Violent One of great wrath! Destroy! hûm trat hâm mâm"
Vajra was a term for both diamond (indestructibility) and lightning (irresistable force). In the Vedas vajra was a term for Indra's lightning weapon. It is also the term for the small object in the pic, which I believe is used as a focal point for energy and meditation. I would imagine there are some differences in the term for this mantra.
Not finding a good explanation of the last line. Perhaps some nice Buddhist will expand on this.

Does /x/ live near and or on any haunted areas?

I grew up in Roswell, GA. I would venture a guess, and I may be biased, that is the second most haunted city in Georgia. Second to Savannah of course.
Nearly all of the supposed haunts stem from events of the civil war, specifically Union occupation.
They do have ghost walks and I went once in a cool fall night. Great atmosphere. Cool stories about the cities history even if you're fairly skeptical like me. Didn't see anything but apparently a lot of people have. Off of the top of my...

So I'm looking to find somewhere spooky in Tokyo. I know the Japanese are very spiritual and when I speak with most Japanese people they know of some haunted place, but that was while I was down in southern Japan, anyone know of some good place in Tokyo?
Getting out to the rural areas can be a bit hard, so the closer in the better. When I go out I'll be sure to post about it on here if anything happens to show.

Hey guys, there is something I have been wanting to get off my chest a bit, and I'm not sure how to tell anyone this because there is no other leading example that i can base this story off of, or even photographs. Pic related is something similar to what I have seen.
But one night, last year ( 2015 ) me and my father were driving down an old countryside road going up towards this Highschool we have in Stanly County. We had just turned off onto this road and was going down it, and we didn't even make it half way down the road until we seen something that looked...

While I stayed in the car I realized the very same light, in the starless sky once again. I wanted to go and get my father so we could experience this again and observe a bit more, but I watched it. It stayed still when I realized it was there, it must have either popped up or I didn't see it on the way to papa Johns, but it was standing still. I thought it was just another planet, until I seen it move again. This had no flashing lights what so ever. It was just a golden orb floating in the sky that moved very quickly. My dad came out just in time to see...

Could be an angel, but don't worship it. They don't like that because all glory belongs to God and if they do you should seriously call on Jesus Christ because they're not your friend.
^ Anon, you have a point. I found it pretty weird that one else around my area or the areas that we seen them in, haven't said anything about the ominous light in the sky.

I think this might be related to cicada 3301. The picture has the same cicada in it. Ive found a lot of things in it too. Like an audio file that when reversed says "Don't follow the stars. Follow the light." can anyone help me decipher it further?
