What do you guys know about the weird "missed" calls people around the world kept getting from the number 88888888
I would constantly get text notifications of having a missed call from that number back around 2013. Curious thing.. It used to happen on an old "non smart phone" ever since i switched to a "smart phone" i haven't gotten them..
Last year, around 10 am of the morning i received a call from the same number, it went for days, like 9 or 10 days receiving the same call, of course i didnt answer, i received the calls on a house phone, not in a cellphone

i got a call from 123456789 once or something like that. what could that even be? i had it saved for the longest time on missed calls but it just bothered me too much and i deleted it. along with numbers like 11111111 and 99999999. sometimes leaving a 4 second voicemail of silence.
well I mean you can spoof your phone number so it's no big deal. i've done it with the help of some prank dialing programs

Im trying to find a way to make a chemical that will bond with the hydrogen of the lipids in my skin to make it hard. I don't want it to be flammable, so no alcohols or hydrocarbons, so maybe something like a silicate crystalline? No metals either, I don't want to be poisoned.

I your skin did become as hard as you say then it would be too hard/ridgid to move. You would also suffocate/overheat because because you couldn't sweat. You'd have toxin build up.

A lot of people seem to be afraid of the dark. It's strange, I think, to be afraid of the dark, and it seems this is why a lot of people are afraid of space as well since it's mostly dark space. But it also is a common childhood fear that many either grow out of, or claim and keep it to themselves. Western societies notion a grown up approach to be rational about darkness. Nothing is there when the light goes out, so why is it scary now? But the fear doesn't always go away, some people are extremely upset by it while others are only irked.

because sometimes there is something there when the light goes out. whether you're out in the wilderness and vulnerable to bears, wolves or other wild animals or you're in the city with muggers, rapists, serial killers, there is always something to be afraid of when your senses are not working at full capacity (i can't see in the dark, can you?). it's probably a primal instinct and it still makes sense today.
