Hey guys, long time inefficient meditator here, improving my practices daily! One of the major reasons for this is that I've begun using mantras. The serenity and peace involved in my practices has been increasing ever since I've begun chanting; not to mention the described, yet, to me, unexpected spiritual benefits!
Om mani padme hum is a sacred mantra said to have many benefits.

It saved me from suicide (no joke)

Midnight In The Desert with Heather Wade
Does anyone even care anymore? I'm looking forward to trolling GirlNoory tomorrow on Open Lines but sociopath Art trying to get his dick wet, Obsessed fan girl failing at hosting and all the drama is boring now. I think we all pretty much figured it out.
Heather Wade is the best radio host in late night hours. She truly is something else...
>>17097558
She's too boring to even hate listen to. Moving on...
The threads are really only good at this point when people can call in. Otherwise it gets kind of boring with lots of complaining and absolutely nothing worth noting on the show itself.
Are there areas of occult/magickal study that involve codes, ciphers, or codebreaking?

What do you believe in /x/?
I believe in the Zodiac and Tarot cards. So... I'm pagan? Wiccan? If so, neat. (Also learning about Vodun)
I mean, I'm ok with either, but I feel like Pagan sounds better to me. While Wicca makes me feel like I'm just in a Harry Potter cult.
I know a lot of people say"You don't need a religion to define yourself/be happy" sure that's true, but I feel sorta "Naked" without it if that makes sense.
At one point I thought maybe I was a shamen cause I liked to learn about different...

What do you think about NLP?
Neuro Linguistic Programming.
Have you ever used or experienced it?
I wrote a research paper on it in a psychology class. My findings were that generally there just wasn't any solid cases that backed up the claims of Bandler and Grinder.
They started out innocently enough but to gather attention they started making some very heavy handed claims of the possibilities of their techniques. This attracted attention obviously, which then led to calls for them to provide patients and accounts of success. Which they couldn't do. So naturally, the whole movement more or less died out.

>Have you ever perceived an event, thought about it, and then acted on it based on your perception?
Uh, yeah.
All the time.
me and my brother used to be fascinated by pua techniques and at some point we read bout nlp
i used to read a book about it but it didnt have the god complex feel to it like the authors claimed and the whole thing somehow faded to nothingness. i mean you dont hear about nlp everyday. if it worked so good then more people would used it consciously
I am looking for a place to discuss hermeticism, alchemy, egyptian mythology, esoteric religion, and kabbalah among other things and I am getting the sense that this is not welcome here.
What online places do you visit to discuss spirituality and the metaphysical?
