i never knew nobody who did these rituals or sold their souls to gain something so it looks like a hollywood meme for kids.

I love both of these mythologies, especially considering claims that there exists the equivalent of a top, top secret space navy, with humans in liaison with extraterrestrial spacefarers.

I can accept the idea as possible, but have no reason to believe it for sure. One thing that gets in the way of the idea of the big crunch, is the fact that not only is the universe still expanding, but the speed of it's expansion is still going faster and faster. Although, our limited understanding of what really makes space-time "tick", means that the edges of our universe could eventually curve in on itself, which would mean that accelerated expansion could quickly turn into accelerated compression....
