For me, I was able to when I paid attention to how people are. I found those I hated or that were the worst people, had the most problems/pain/issues. Life is rough for everyone, so I don't waste time with hate because it just adds to the suck of life for me and for others. I just smile and don't let little things take up any of the short time I have in life.
