Had one of these threads a while back and am looking for some more to watch. Not necessarily looking for adaptations of Lovecraft stories, but films with Lovecraftian elements.
Saw pic related based on the recommendations in the last thread, and it was kind of meh. I didn't hate it, but calling it "Lovecraftian" was a little bit of a stretch.
Bump I want a cthulu movie

It's called, "The Call of Cthulhu"
AKA The Borderlands
Really liked this.
So, /x/, I've been a long time hopeful in the belief of the paranormal, hung around /x/ for a couple years and posted a few times. Until recently I was dating a guy who shared a stronger belief, if hesitantly so, in the paranormal or supernatural. When we broke up I took a pretty long break from /x/ and spoop stuff because I didn't want to be reminded of good times.
Anyway, with the backstory up there, I work pretty late into the night, walking home at that very special time where there are typically no cars and no people around, for my town it's about...

OP here continuing with some more of that shit.
A night later I was almost home and this old model Chevvy 4 door pulls up next to me going the wrong way down the street and the guy starts yelling to get my attention, I walk off the sidewalk on the other side to try and get some distance and he just starts honking, so I stop and look and he's just glaring at me, I pop out my headphones and walk a bit closer and he starts demanding directions to some bar I've never heard of, he says his brother is drunk and needs to be picked up there and I assure him I don't...

G'day OP, A very similar event happened to my missus awhile back, with a bloke that just randomly appeared one night outside of her work asking for directions to a place (we assume) doesn't exist. Turns out it was a creeper that she said 'hello' or something as equally mundane, which this guy took for flirting. Any way we after I spent a few nights at work with her this guy fucked off and was never seen again.
My advice, try remember if you recognize the guy or the car from past experiences, there may be a connection of sorts. Failing that, contact...

don't know about the first one but the second one sounded like a guy knew of a bar in the area and was looking to find someone probably to rape. He had a phone charger but no phone, sound suspicious to me. I would say be very aware of your surroundings and possibly carry pepper spray
HPL art thread?
Of all the trillions of insects, bacteria, animals you could've been born as, you were born as a human. The most amazing and creative animal on the planet.
If we only have one life, then aren't we some of the most lucky beings in existence?
Aren't you thankful that your one chance at life was as a human?
Reincarnation, cycle of life, so on and so on.

I suppose we are, thanks OP you made my insignificant life moderately better.

Is "ghost adventures" real?

what is real, how do you define real?
jk. never seen it free joke bump.
I believe most of their reactions are real.
Whether or not a lot of the evidence they capture is real or not is another thing entirely.
Post any weird stuff that happened to you.

I could literally zone out completely and disconnect from reality at will as a kid. When I did, it would go black and there would be silence. Time still progressed as normal though.
when I was a kid a lot of times sounds would get really messed up and I would be viewing the world in 3rd person. stopped whenever I was forced to take anti depressants. I feel like they've ruined me, im off em tho.

Yeah, most people refer to that as closing your eyes...
I was wondering if anyone else experiences this. Some people find it a problem because it's addicting, but I find it pretty entertaining. Please share your stories and if you would want it treated.

Never heard of this concept before but I'm 21 and I regularly find myself daydreaming pretty hardcore, creating my own worlds and things

Then you probably fall into this category. You can search it up and see if you have any of the symptoms.

I think I do. My mind wonders so badly that I have a hard time focusing on projects or hobbies like video games. Sometimes the dreams incorporate characters from whatever media I've been consuming. And I'll have many mini dreams about how I'd react to something or have fantastical things happen to me.

I'm looking for spooky podcasts that tell a story. So far I've listened to Tanis, The Black Tapes, and Limetown. I've tried others, but none of them live up to those three.
Any suggestions?
Try The Message. It's like Limetown but shorter and about aliens.
Lore, really good.
Anything?

I never experienced death anon, so I can't tell you about after death experiences. But maybe some kind ghost will reply to your thread! Keep up the good work!
Does OD'ing on Vicodin while on DMT count as a near death experience? If so, I can tell you the vivid "dream" I had that still seems like it was real.
Hi, this is a group to share paranormal vids pics and stories

I have a few questions about lucid dreaming. Is what other people know in your dreams limited to what you know? Are there even other people in your dreams? Will my mind substitute wrong answers for questions I ask someone if I myself don't actually know the answers? Any answers appreciated. Also, since there definitely isn't one every single day, lucid dreaming general
