>look at the inside of my mouth in the mirror, and find a hole at the roof of my mouth between my front teeth and lips

>wash off blood from arms and sink and can't bring myself to go back downstairs
>The next day my upper lip is swollen to about twice it's original size and I still to this day don't know what happened

>every night I would lock my windows and pull down the shutters

I'm probably a lamefag but The Descent stuck with me, as well the original Alien movie.

I think horror movies are in kind of a ditch due to modernity quashing so many of our instinctual fears of the unknown, so it's hard to make anything good now.

I've seen a lot of stuff recently, like Serbian Movie, stuff in that genre, but those films are really just shockers rather than horror.
