Do you, guys, believe that there are objects of power or normal objects that have special attributes that we can't "measure"?
Salt we use to cook e etc, but some believe that it repels the evil. The spear of destiny.
What if that lucky ring really gives you more luck?
Let's discuss the possibilities of objects, long lost or not, that can change the very fabric of reality for the owner.
I think some objects can be charged with psychic energy if done properly
Natural objects like crystals, sage or whatever also have varying degrees of effects on humans but not in a magickal sense imo (putting crystals around you to center a chakra or whatever seems fake and more based on the fact you are meditating on something)
I think the most powerful objects are made from things you collect in a specific matter and arrange, then affecting you on a deeply personal level
But salt is like really tiny crystals
Considering hexing a former friend of mine who's betrayed me and turned a good 15 friends against me with lies. Any recommendations for rituals to preform? Also what are your experiences with preforming hexes, curses, and witchcraft in general?
Cast kick on his balls
>>17498231
Write 'em off, man. Who cares? Your former friend isn't worth your attention and the other 15 are naive enough to blindly follow him. You're better off.
>>17498231
why don't you not be a pussy and confront this ex-friend in person? Present proof of their lies and expose them.
>magic is real.
I don't believe in any of the shit on this board.
Convince me otherwise.

Have you ever experienced sleep paralysis?
Experience stories, thoughts behind why they happen, etc
Unfortunately I never have had it happen but would like to see for myself. My opinion is that it is a psychological projection of fear contained within the mind of the observer and not actual separate entities.
this was back when i went to college in pittsburgh, i've had a few sleep paralysis experiences but this was by far the most vivid and terrifying, it goes like this.
>wake up in the middle of the night
>feel very dark and scary entity
>somehow knew he was at the end of my bed crouching in the corner of the room
>couldn't move
>see him stand up
>just stands at the end of my bedComment too long. Click here to view the full text.
it's not a lot of fun. i've had infrequent fits of sleep paralysis since i was a teenager and i've never seen spooky shadow people or anything cool like that. the first time it ever happened i was scared shitless and thought i was goin die, but after that it's just been like "oh boy it's this nonsense again"
>>17496862
that's normally what it is like for me too besides the other time i just posted about. my best advice would be to wiggle your tongue, it's a pre dream state that paralyses your body so you don't act out your dreams, but your tongue stays moveable so you can swallow, and when you wiggle it sends a signal to your brain telling it that your awake

Hey /x/,
Is it possible for demons to come through the TV? First of all, what are demons? Are they the disembodied spirits of the dead Nephilim?

Can we get a pic of the book? I think I might know what this is.
>>17495139
my memory of the book is fading, but this is the best depiction I could muster. The diamond was red, and the outline of the book was red. the flowers at the top were roses. the spine was rugged, like the book was made of a sort of leather.

>dreaming
>demons, summoning
>hear a faint whisper in my head say "i'm still here"
I have attempted lucid dreaming since 2015 and still haven't had an actual lucid dream, any tips?
According to a VICE news article, science proves that you lucid dream more often if you have recently quit daily marijuana use. So hypothetically, you would lucid dream the most if you alternate between getting stoned and staying sober.
Personally, I think meditating every day would help alot.
Just be present every moment of the day
By the 3rd day you should start dreaming I'd you dont do any drugs.

I find the mental state is hardest, sort of awake but lying down in the dark+quiet.
In my first lucid dream I thought "lets try something i wouldnt do in real life" and raped a chick.
What's /x/'s take on the spirits of our pets? Story below:
About 8 months ago, I had to do the hardest thing I've ever done and put my German Shepherd, Otto, down due to cancer. He was only 6.
When Otto was alive, he loved to rub his head/face on furniture to scratch it. He took a particular liking to a touch-activated floor lamp I had in the corner of my living room. I would always get annoyed with him because late at night when all the lights are off and we're curled up on the couch watching TV, he'd get up to have a drink of water...

Nothing happened for about 2 weeks after I got the lamp back home, but sure enough one night it started turning on by itself again. I've moved the lamp around the house, just to make sure it's not something else setting the sensor off (air vents, vibrations, etc). But I would always eventually come to find the lamp had turned on by itself. I live alone, so that rules out the possibility of someone else turning it on.
I eventually moved the lamp back into the living room, coming to terms with the fact that I can't do anything about it turning on by itself....

I totally believe pets souls remain with us sometimes. Almost nine years ago I lost the first chihuahua I had, and mom, dad, and sis have either seen his shadow or heard him sniffing under the door. I have to say it only happens in the house we used to live in, which is now my parents' office. No other pets are there, so it can't be another dog. Don't get rid of that lamp, apparently, he still loves it
>>17493857
i'm sorry about your dog.
a few years back i was sitting out by where my cat was buried. she died a long time ago from leukemia, she was a really good natured cat all around
was just quietly meditating and i heard the tiniest little sounds on the ground, coming my way. the ground was covered with leaves and i could see the leaves compressing down as if tiny little cat feet were invisibly striding my way. i heard the faintest sound of that vibrating low purr that cats do when they are happy

It's really bad, please don't watch it.
A pretty /x/tier movie that's kinda decent is The Vanishing on 7th Street. Some of the character's may frustrate you with their rationales, but overall the thematic elements of the movie are fairly well conveyed.
