The Golden Bough by James Frazer is missing in that list

What's inherently wrong with creating tulpas of existing fictional characters?
Pic related, thinking of making a tulpa.
>>17893441
Well. There is possible issues with it. Tulpa are by nature growing beings. They will change and grow with their experiences and what you feed them. This can come into conflict with what you think a character from a show is like.
All the Tulpa that I have made from fictional characters have always changed, not really in bad ways, but still. Eventually they no longer resemble that character and depending on you, this can be a point of contingent for them. A crisis of identity. They could feel your want for...

Is there a chance that it will come out horribly disfigured and insane though? Like is shit like that /x/ pasta about the screaming Pinkie Pie tulpa with jet black eyes real?
Let's discuss their end goal. What do they hope to achieve through the recruitment of "highly intelligent people"?
I've researched this group quite a bit. There's this website that I got to that vaguely expressed their motives. I don't remember exactly what was discussed; but what I do know, is that they seek to bring irreversible change. I'll try to find the link again for you.
Go on to their website, cicada3301.org. It should answer most of your questions. You kinda have to dig around, though. Also, check news stories about people who have completed the puzzle. You'll see what they have to say. Also, the gematria primes is important to use to translate the liver primus.
>MFW reading the Liber Primus
There is something exceptionally insightful and mystical about their philosophy.
Could it be possible for an civilization to exist below the earth?
Is it possible? Yes.
But, is it likely? Also yes.

Is it possible for a railroad to exist underground?

Are you suggesting Australians aren't real?
Greetings /x/
I am in a situation where I would like to be/remain completely indifferent for an extended period of time. By indifferent I mean "soulless" as in no happiness, sadness, pleasure, relaxation, anxiety, hope, fear, humiliation nothing. In fact, for bonus points lets add losing a sense of time to this equation, as in time moving faster.
I don't know if there is any type of magick for this, or any particular drug that gives that soulless feeling, but if so I would love to learn more. I need to go through "the motions" and "routines"...

Watch the kardashians or something, that shit kills brain cells
Why don't you want to feel anything?
>>17890369
Im aware how neckbeard this sounds, but I need pure objectivity and logic. My current situation requires me to work all day, every day and emotions get in the way of my job. Stress, glee, disappointment, all of it makes me inefficient and if I can ditch all of these it would make my life so much easier.
hey /x/, I'm privacy claim.
2 days ago a video was sent to my email with no context from an email address I didn't recognize. There was no subject line or message in the email. It only contained the video. I don't know these people and have no idea whats going on in the video. But as a long time lurker and short time poster I thought I'd leave it here and maybe someone might have some interest in it.

Like I said I have no clue
So i never really considered the possibillity of skinwalkers, i do believe in ghost and aliens and such stuff, so im not completely un-open about this theme, but they just seem kind of too out of place. now im new to 4chan, and suddenly see one skinwalkerreport after another and people seem to generally believe them.
so im asking, are there any legit reports about that stuff? any links to a believable source? or are they just (partly really well written) horrorstories?
and what is your opinion to that theme
I know you might not believe a fellow anon, but i shit you not, these fuck are real. Ive seen one (wish i didnt) and it was 3spoop5meh
Depends on the definition. If we're talking skin walker as the shapeshifting witches, they be bullshit. If we're talking the Rake's spawnlings they're also bullshit because the internet literally spawned them. Just like Slenderman.
>>17887685
if they are simply bullshit why doesnt matter about which ones we are talking? or is there a third option? (no idea what thea rakes spawnlings are, but i mean the stories where they are in the wooods, and some guy goes out, and returns being weird. seemingly slowly learning the language, not really interacting with others except to lure someone alone out occasionally, and when seen pale bony humanoid beings. i heared about the witch ones from old folklore as well though)

WHAT REALLY HAPPENS WHEN YOU DIE
IS THAT IT
SO MANY FUCKING BILLIONS OF PEOPLE HERE
SOME PEOPLE SAY HEAVEN BUT THERE'S NO WAY OF KNOWING
HOW DO PEOPLE HANDLE THAT FACT
>>17869485
everything just kinda turns black and shit, man.
you shouldn't be afraid of the unknown. we have no true sense of what happens after death.
my assumption is that since we are conscious beings, we will remain conscious after death. No being that is conscious can be aware of being unaware. The body is not the source of consciousness but more of a symptom of it. this body is a shell and when you die it will be like waking up from a dream. who knows? no ones died and lived to tell the tale. doesn't mean im going to live my life in fear like these American Idles.
>>17869485
Yuh know, I really believe there is an afterlife or at the very least reincarnation most likely both. Why is it that all of those who go deep into the mind meditating come to the same conclusion that of course you don't die.

For what purpose?
Hey /x/.
Kinda in a tight spot, so had to turn there, here's the short story:
>gf in mental hospital
>clinical depression
>her parents are assholes don't let her talk to me
>miss her a lot
>she misses me back
Anyway, I heard I could visit her in her dream. Can anyone help me with this? I'll be eternally grateful.
Sure, dreamwalking can be done.
It's like, you have to be focused on your goal but relaxed and not trying too hard.
Basically just focus your mind on her with the intention of going to her in the dreamworld as you drift off to sleep.
If you've never tried it before, it might take you a few tries to find the sweet spot or whatever.
Best of luck to you, friend.
>>17899066
Sounds easy enough.
Thank you, brother.
>>17899070
It really is fairly simple in principle, but in practice it's kinda hit or miss, or maybe I'm just shit at it, I dunno.
In your case though, I dunno man, love is a powerful thing, that should help.
5 people, 1 question each.
Go
What should I be focusing on right now to prepare for the next stage of my life?
>please give cards
If you tell me which cards you get, I'm willing to read for you in return. My question relates to future wife. How will I know her when I find her?
>>17898506
You should be focusing on the event that is going to happen. When there is possibility that you get a gift of any kind - think clearly if it is better to be rejected or not. Since accepting it makes you get into an some kind of agreement and you may not even know it.
>sorry, no cards
Tarot noob here.
Is it important to have a deck with full-sized cards or no? I'm thinking about purchasing a pocket-sized deck because I feel more comfortable shuffling playing cards, and I just prefer the size in general.
>>17898343
>tfw you were pic related
2006 was a hell of a year.
>>17898343
It doesn't matter so long as you get cards with pictures you can read.

Interesting thing happened, and I wondered if there are similar experiences. I mean Im sure some of you have seen this because I googled and its a thing apparently.
I live in OH sort of out in the middle of nowhere. I'm 20 miles from the next town. I am currently home alone although I do not live alone (back from uni for the summer)

Calling it now "Black eyed children who just feel off" thread.
smooth and black, like two pieces of obsidian. At the time I was shocked but not scared, I just figured it was some weird birth defect. He was normal and good looking in every other way so I didn't feel threatened. Anyway, I said "I came from Akron" or something like that which was probably a mistake, I should have asked how they knew they wanted to go there. The big one said "we have to go to Akron." At this point I finished with the pump and was ready to leave. I told them if they were lost, they'd better just go in and tell the clerk to call...

lol I wish I had a prize for you. I didn't know the story was so cliche but this really happened and I'd like to see other threads of it if I could find them.
Also I didn't mean for 1st paragraph to end on cliffhanger like that, I legitmately ran into wordcount there.
