You've got people posting about aliens, demons, ghosts, reptilians, mysterious disappearances (something paranormal being behind it) etc., but I just can't bring myself to believe in any of it because rational evidence just isn't there.

I mean every media there is, every book , everything portrays the light as being good, in relation to god, etc. But what if the great deceiver created this concept and when you "die" you aren't supposed to step into the light? I have a weird theory after reading this. What if ghosts/ spirits are the manifestation of memories when someone dies? The only reason I can think of that there wouldn't be trillions of spirits everywhere right now is because they ascend to heaven, pass on, or something like that. Maybe spirits stay here because they were afraid in life of what happens in death? Dunno, random spiel off the top of my head.
