Okay, /x/, I need your help.
Someone posted this QR code with no text in some thread and I decided to scan it.
It contained a GPG signed message, with and Abash cipher.
Ralph Waldo Emerson says: "Ne te quaesiveris extra" (Do not look for your self outside"
some ##:## format things, 1-4, I'm assuming reference to religious text.
then Julius Caesar says: "wqmm//f.fjdr.zlj/JeqWulx.gmd"
then a GPG signature, i'd appreciate some help figuring the rest of this out.

There's two discoveries that will change mankind forever and we are now pretty sure that we will achieve it. If we know that we can achieve them in due time, that means they have already been achieved in the future.
I'm talking about true AI and virtual reality. If that is true, then my hypothesis is that we are most likely already living in a computer simulation of some sorts. The only way we'll be able to be sure is when we successfully develop AI/VR and have created our own human simulations at which point it will be a certainty that we ourselves are...

>I'm talking about true AI and virtual reality.
We already have both of them RIGHT NOW.
Time travel might have been a more interesting topic.
>>17619816
>So if that's the case and we're probably living in a simulation right now, what do you think its purpose is?
Beats me. But I know as soon as we figure out the truth it will be shut off.
>>17619821
but there is no practical and foreseeable implementation of time travel. it would happen way past our achivement of AI/superintelligence.
what's definitely happening this century is our discovery of what makes us age and then we'll basically all be immortal. look up elizabeth parrish.

/x/ I was wondering if any of you have heard of/ have been to this place.
Its an abandoned psychiatric center on Long Island. Lots of urban legends and folklore surrounding it. Legends of an underground tunnel linking all the buildings for example. weird stuff, also a lot of paranormal stuff supposedly. Its also a big urban exploration site, I can post pictures that Ive taken similar to this one if you guys want.

I've been there before nothing special
I live about 30 mins from it. ive been there 10 times. 9 at night, once during the day time. I've only had one weird experience there.
>Walked up 13 floors of one of the more traveled buildings.
>ive walked this building plenty of times before
>we always look in all the rooms, its not hard to do, its very open like in ops pic.

Hello again, /x/.
I'm looking for some input. For those that don't know me, I collect Nope stories, legends, anything /x/ related, and organize it in a library which I upload every Halloween. At today' s count, there are 4,456 stories in the NOPE stories section. Unfortunately, the farther back you look, the less quality control there is. In the last Halloween thread, I actually recommended that readers start from the most recent additions and work their way backwards, and that really shouldn't be the case. In the early days, around 2011-2012, I'd...

I may sound like a faggot, but I think the badly written ones do have some sort of charm to them. They have a sort of fine wine type to them. They may be older, but they're vintage.
>>17617393
>Not that no matter what
That should be *note* that no matter what,
Hello again, it's been a while.
I say keep them, in greentext format, as they are unless the spelling/grammar is absolutely ATROCIOUS, then fix the worst offenders. Even if there are a bunch of mistakes, I feel it's more "authentic" to leave the stories as they are unless the OP wishes otherwise.
By the way, I can't remember, did you ever find a site to host your stuff on?
Does anyone know If like a mobile/digital ouija board type thing existed? Like to get a device to communicate with me?

Alright, so, I mostly identify as atheist, and for the most part disregard the paranormal, but I'm really feeling desperate right now and for some fucking reason I'm willing to give a try.
Basically, long story short. There's a girl who I was really close with, we had a thing, and I pushed here away cause I'm a fucking STUPID piece of shit and Ive done this LOADS of times with people because I cant seem to trust them without making up some bullshit and quitting on them too early.
And I regret it. I really do. I almost feel like we were soulmates....

I know of black candles in rituals, but does anyone know what this means? The candle has writing on it and under it is a paper leaflet and some girls underwear.
OP, you're the ones that is there. What was on the leaflet? How far burned down was the candle? How did the panties fit?
>>17614446
The candle was recently lit, 10 to 15 minutes before finding it. The writing said holy bible but was only one page folded over, and the panties fitted nicely and I'm size 32 uk waist.

Do you guys think "aliens" are just humans from the future and UFO are time machines?
I recall time machines being invented when Roswell crash happened (or at least reverse engineered)
>>17611172
anyone?
I think they are modified humans from the past, specifically the time of the fallen angels, Atlantis, etc. I also think there are spirits that look like them. Altogether, they mediate between this world and the next, and occupy the space in between.
I am wondering if the government has created it's own version by now.
I also believe the narrative of "aliens" is propaganda and being hard pushed.
Finally, I'm fairly certain that at some point (if it hasn't happened already) a break away government run by them will be given/take control...

What do you think about Jack Parsons? Share anecdotes, thoughts, theories, death conspiracies, etc about this enigmatic figure head
Jack Parsons writing to Aleister Crowley
Most Beloved Father,1
About three months ago I met Capt. L. Ron Hubbard, a writer and explorer of whom I had known for some time… He is a gentleman; he has red hair, green eyes, is honest and intelligent, and we have become great friends. He moved in with me about two months ago, and although Betty [aka Sara] and I are still friendly, she has transferred her sexual affections to him.
Although Ron has no formal training in Magick, he has an extraordinary amount of experience and understanding in the field. From some of...

Who?
>>17611007
He is an incredible character in the the world of the occult. Devilishly intelligent, he created solid state rocket fuel and was a friend and conspirator with the likes of Aleister Crowley and L Ron Hubbard. He died in a freak accident when an explosion took place in his laboratory. Parsons was known for acute attention to safety and detail in his work so an accident was uncharacteristic, leading many to believe he was killed by the government.
How about some vintage weirdness?
